I've been looking in vain for such a book over the Internet for a long time and I was even thinking that I should start to write one by myself. Two thumbs up!

Respond on quiz: Put your shoze neer you, and wait for gravity to accelarate you and a shoe one to another. When you are just a little bit before you meet, burn a shoe so that its atoms would take random directions thus not decelerating your velocity :-) (use of gravity and thermodynamics)

Enjoying your book, have read to page 45 so far I like that it is so conceptually oriented but must say bad show to the author for critizing his fellow physicists on page 43 for spending their time studying the nature of time without even giving references to these mentioned works so the reader can decide for themselves or taking the time to debunk their theories. Even if their research was "predictable" one does not know the truth until finally arriving at a blind alley. Additionally what if the great scientists of the past listened to the then conventional views on subjects such as these, would we now not have the theory of relativity in that case? From this section on time on page 43; My only question is this, does the auther then believe that the second law of thermodynamics does not imply that time has direction?

Bitte so weitermachen!
