Knowledge is Power

July 16, 2009

Knowledge is power; understanding is wealth. Ideas change people; people change nations; nations change the Earth. Communist countries blocking this text tells a lot about them. They are AFRAID. Stop supporting tyrany; stop buying communist made products.
LOVE your book!

CS: Please distinguish people from their governments. And also note that a fascist government has blocked the site; there are bad governments on either side. The tough but correct choice in life is to be moderate; the easy and wrong choice is to be extremist.

thanks

Hello Christoph, thanks very much for this very well-written text. I think you have made a wonderful contribution to explaining physics.

I know this is an ambitious request, but I wonder if it is possible to bridge the gap from the end of your text to direct participation in the unified theory questions posed in the "Research" section?

I think that would be the ultimate accomplishment, to bring readers to the point where they do not have to wait for the last sections of the text to be completed - but they themselves could help in its completion?

Do you think that is possible?

Best wishes,
Vanessa

CS: The research section has many ideas that can be explored further; this should be possible for anybody who has read the book - just go for it.

Great Job

I thank you for giving a good project. Now I am downloading this new edition. I had a old edition given by my friend Saurav. I looked into it yesterday only. I loved the simple language you use. First I will read the book and then I will write back to you. I saw your first challenge. I will honestly try your challenges. Thanks... I can feel how difficult it is to bring such a work. At this stage thanks are not enough.....

Hi I just wanted to thank you. I major in mathematics and the spirit this book has is amazing, and the way it explains is very extense but also dense in its subjects its just what I wanted. Surely a reference for students if I get to teach physics at some time(if its ok), take care, good luck and thanks again.

Cannot thank enough

Hello Christoph,

I'm Spanish and I'm preparing for being a teacher. I'm glad to find your book (I found it on Scribd.com) and see you chose the cc by-nc license. I'm going to make you a question, and I'd like not to upset to you. Why do you choose the "non-derivate" licese? It'd be fantastic to use your book to make teacher's presentations, or many other derivates with the by-nc-sa (share alike) for students, in wich your book would be referenced. Why don't? It'd give to your book a lot of advertising, and your work would be more usefull.

Thank you very much for your book. I hope I haven't upset to you for my comment.

CS: You are welcome to use extracts of the book in your classes. This is allowed by copyright laws in all countries I know of, and does not depend on the type of licence. In Spain, this is allowed by Article 32 of the copyright law.
